Director of People Experience

About the role

The Talent team sits within AB's People organization and runs programs covering talent and performance management, learning and development, employee engagement and recognition. The Director of People Experience reports to the Chief Talent Officer and works with the broader People team and Corporate Communications. The role owns the day-to-day administration and long-term strategy of employee experience initiatives designed to drive engagement and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employee experience programs including the annual engagement survey, pulse surveys, onboarding and the enterprise recognition program
• Develop strategy and goals for each program, liaise with vendors and internal teams, and build resources and campaigns to support high usage
• Work with the technology team to surface and resolve user issues
• Monitor and analyze key talent metrics to spot trends and improvement opportunities
• Partner with internal technology product owners on the latest tools and their implementation
• Work with Corporate Communications on campaigns and change management
• Keep up with organizational development and talent research and trends
• Align business unit development and talent strategies with enterprise goals

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience
• Proven track record of developing organizational development strategies
• Demonstrated advocacy for AI solutions to improve workplace effectiveness and innovation
• Experience administering engagement and pulse surveys and analyzing survey data
• Flexible, proactive, creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment
