North America Payroll Manager

About the role

The North America Payroll Manager leads end‑to‑end payroll operations for the United States and Canada, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee payroll inputs, calculations, interfaces, reconciliations, controls and issue resolution for both exempt and non‑exempt employees.
• Build and lead a high‑performing payroll operation with clear processes, accountability and performance standards.
• Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate and improve payroll delivery using LEAN principles.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching and technical guidance to a payroll team of 8+ members.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of payroll experience with a Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in HR, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification.
• Experience managing complex payroll transactions, audits, reconciliations and compliance for both US and Canada.

Required skills

• Workday (time‑tracking) and ADP payroll systems.
• Exempt/non‑exempt, union/non‑union payroll processing.
• Understanding of 401(k) and bonus payroll components.

What we offer

• Base salary range $93,000 – $148,000 per year.
