Director of Operations – Remote (East Coast)

About the role

CEFALY Technology is looking for an experienced operations leader to scale its global supply chain, logistics and fulfillment functions. The role is remote, serving the East Coast, and will drive product availability, regulatory‑compliant trade and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end supply planning, inventory management and S&OP processes to improve forecast accuracy and working‑capital efficiency.
• Provide strategic oversight of domestic and international logistics, third‑party providers and transportation partners, ensuring cost‑effective, on‑time delivery.
• Lead import/export compliance, customs documentation and global trade risk mitigation.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, KPI development and operational risk assessments across the supply chain.
• Mentor and develop Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics teams while partnering with Quality, Finance, Commercial and Product Development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or Business; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 8‑12+ years of progressive leadership in operations, logistics or fulfillment, preferably in medical devices or another highly regulated industry.
• Proven experience managing global supply chains, contract manufacturers, third‑party logistics and international trade compliance.
• Demonstrated success improving inventory performance, fulfillment metrics and cost efficiencies.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and supply‑chain planning tools.
• Expertise in import/export regulations, customs requirements and international transportation.
• Advanced analytical and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
• Project‑management and organizational skills, with experience in Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
