About the role
Join BAYADA as a Direct Care Worker (Home Health Aide) to provide personal care, household support, and companionship to adults living at home. You will follow a nurse‑written care plan and help clients maintain safety and independence.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting and nail care.
- Provide household support including light housekeeping, laundry and bed making.
- Prepare meals, feed clients and remind them about medication.
- Support range‑of‑motion exercises and assist with ambulation using mechanical lifting devices.
Required profile
- Passion for caregiving and desire to help others.
- Empathy, patience, kindness and respect.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
- Commitment to deliver quality, compassionate care.
