Digital Direct Investment Supervisor

About the role

The Digital Investment Supervisor supports day-to-day investment operations for Digital Media across client teams at Starcom, a standalone media agency. The supervisor works on a variety of accounts, learns digital systems and data needs, understands media buy structures and helps implement process improvements. The role also offers the chance to work on cross-agency projects that drive business goals and increase efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Implement processes to improve digital buying, client billing and digital reconciliation
• Develop processes ensuring data integrity and roll them out across the agency
• Learn systems such as Mediaocean-Prisma, ad servers and verification, DSPs, social platforms, DMPs and internal proprietary tools
• Serve as escalation point for teams troubleshooting operational issues
• Propose solutions to process pain points and work with internal and external teams to build best practices and tools
• Determine how to deliver data needed for reporting
• Ensure digital contracts and terms with vendors are in place and evaluate IO notes requested by vendors
• Share best practices across Publicis and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, leadership and vendors
• Manage vendor-side billing and oversee open items clearing
• Mentor and develop Associates and Senior Associates

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology or consumer insights
• 3+ years of relevant media advertising experience
• Knowledge of agency billing (client-side and/or vendor-side)
• Knowledge of digital planning and buying, vendors, cost methods, reporting and delivery validation
• Proven ability to coach and develop others
• Experience using media tools and systems

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite, with a heavy focus on Excel
• Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
