Deployment Strategist – U.S. Air Force

About the role

The Deployment Strategist (DS) at Rivet ensures successful definition, implementation, and operation of new systems for U.S. Air Force customers. Acting as a bridge between Rivet’s technical teams and Air Force stakeholders, the DS drives strategic engagement and hands‑on execution to turn early conversations into pilots, programs, and long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new opportunities across aircraft operations, maintenance, sustainment, logistics, and installation use cases within the U.S. Air Force.
• Build and manage relationships with Air Force leaders, program offices, acquisition stakeholders, and other decision‑makers to understand mission needs and generate demand for Rivet solutions.
• Design and execute comprehensive deployment plans, ensuring seamless integration of Rivet’s hardware‑software systems.
• Partner with commercial and engineering teams to translate Air Force requirements into technical proposals, deployment strategies, and executable plans.
• Own opportunities from initial engagement through pilot, deployment, and program expansion, maintaining continuity between proposed and delivered solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years managing DoD/USAF deployments of complex integrated technology solutions.
• 5+ years in technical solution sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles with government customers.
• Proven ability to translate operational needs into executable technology solutions and business opportunities.
• Exceptional communication skills with senior military, technical, operational, and acquisition stakeholders.
• U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain or hold an active security clearance, and willingness to travel 35‑70%.
