Data Entry Clerk – Customer Service & Database Management

About the role
We are looking for a Data Entry Clerk to support our customs and logistics operations by accurately capturing and maintaining customer and customs account information. The role involves liaising with internal teams and external clients to gather data and ensure it is entered promptly into our systems.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑level customer service to clients, vendors and service providers.
- Enter new and updated customer and customs account data into the company database.
- Accurately populate fields across various software applications.
- Prepare and deliver reports in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor, update and correct existing data as required.
- Identify discrepancies and report them to the team leader for resolution.
- Offer ad‑hoc data entry support to multiple teams.
- Perform other clerical duties and project tasks as assigned.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of data‑entry experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 15 lb occasionally.
Required skills
- Intermediate PC proficiency.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Basic understanding of customs documentation.
