Data Analyst

About the role

Sagetap is seeking a Data Analyst to become the strategic analytics partner for Product, Growth, Engineering, Design, and Leadership. You will use data to shape product strategy, influence roadmap decisions, and identify high‑impact opportunities for marketplace growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define KPIs, build experimentation frameworks, and own product analytics reporting.
• Design, evaluate, and scale A/B tests and product experiments.
• Create executive‑ready dashboards and self‑service reporting for Product, GTM, and Leadership.
• Maintain scalable analytics datasets using DBT and modern data‑modeling best practices.
• Manage database categorization of technology categories and vendors.
• Research cybersecurity and AI markets to inform product strategy.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in product, growth, or data analytics, preferably in B2B SaaS or marketplace environments.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear executive recommendations.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable thriving in ambiguity.

Required skills

• Expert SQL.
• Python for data engineering and analytics.
• Hands‑on experience with DBT.
• Proficiency with Mixpanel, Omni (or similar BI tools), and Git.
• Experience with experimentation frameworks and modern data warehouses.
