CT Technologist – Weekend Days

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a CT Technologist to work weekend days at Akron General Medical Center. You will provide accurate computed tomography imaging for a high‑volume outpatient department, supporting patient safety and diagnostic quality.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire patient chart data, verify study orders, and set up the CT room according to protocol.
• Educate patients about the procedure, operate the CT scanner, and ensure timely completion of up to 40 scans in an eight‑hour shift.
• Maintain technical and clerical aspects of the CT area, including quality assurance and documentation.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered Technologist credentialed by ARRT (R.T.(R)) in good standing.
• CT certification (R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)) obtained within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Operation of computed tomography equipment.
• Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and related pathology.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment safely.
