About the role
The CT Technologist provides patient-centered computed tomography imaging services at Marymount Hospital, supporting the radiology department and serving the Garfield Heights and Southeast Cuyahoga County communities.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret physician orders, set up CT rooms, and verify study appropriateness.
- Educate patients on procedures, operate CT equipment, administer contrast, and position patients for optimal imaging.
- Maintain technical and clerical aspects of the CT area, ensuring quality assurance and documentation.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification (R.T.(R)) in good standing.
- CT certification (R.T.(R) (CT)) to be obtained within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Required skills
- Operation of CT scanners and administration of contrast agents.
- Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and related pathologies.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients and equipment as needed.
