About the role

The CT Technologist performs routine computed tomography procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality while serving as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students.

Key responsibilities

  • Verify physician orders, operate CT equipment, and acquire diagnostic-quality images.
  • Explain procedures to patients, manage IV placement, and review images before transmission.
  • Complete quality‑control checks, maintain equipment, and assist with departmental operations such as inventory and scheduling.

Required profile

  • Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT registration or eligibility within 90 days of hire, with a current unrestricted state license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with computed tomography (CT) imaging.
  • Experience using radiology information systems and related software.
  • Knowledge of CT procedures, radiation safety, and basic cardiac anatomy.
