Critical Care Float RN – Full-Time, Weekend Option, Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

The Critical Care Float RN provides direct patient care across multiple critical care units, including ICU, Emergency Department, and various medical‑surgical areas. This full‑time position offers a weekend option, shift differentials, and a sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high‑quality nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, including infection prevention and patient handling.
• Maintain and care for central lines, prevent surgical site infections, and administer medications.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, document care activities, and communicate findings to physicians and the care team.
• Educate patients and families, delegate tasks appropriately, and foster teamwork.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Missouri or Compact licensure (graduates must obtain licensure within 90 days).
• One year of nursing experience preferred; new graduate nurses considered.

Required skills

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• MANDT training.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification.
