Corporate Controller

About the role

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting, compliance, and cash management across its fast‑growing, Series B biotech business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the controller will partner with leaders across the organization to ensure high‑quality financial reporting and support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting and payroll activities, including month‑end close, invoicing, and AP processes.
• Serve as the in‑house expert on revenue recognition, GAAP compliance, and internal controls.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, prepare internal and external financial statements, and produce KPI reporting with variance analysis.
• Review payroll tax filings, manage expense approvals, and continuously streamline accounting systems for efficiency.

Required profile

• CPA certification with at least 3 years in public accounting.
• 7+ years of finance experience, preferably in a startup environment.
• Degree in finance, economics, statistics, business or a related field.
• Strong ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non‑financial leaders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for large data set manipulation.
• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
