Actuarial Analyst – Leadership Development Program

About the role

MassMutual is seeking recent graduates to join its Actuarial Leadership Development Program as Actuarial Analysts. The program begins in December 2026 and offers a rotational experience across multiple business units, allowing participants to contribute to strategic decision‑making while preparing for actuarial fellowship.

Key responsibilities

• Complete rotations in various actuarial and business lines, working on high‑profile projects that support company growth.
• Partner with a dedicated mentor for exam guidance, career coaching, and professional development.
• Participate in networking lunches with senior actuaries, executive speaker series, and external actuarial seminars.
• Engage in community volunteer opportunities and social events to build lasting relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a quantitative focus (Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, or related).
• Completion of at least one actuarial exam and commitment to pursue Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0, strong analytical abilities, and demonstrated leadership.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and embody MassMutual’s values of integrity, customer focus, and collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
