Investment Product Management Director

About the role

MassMutual is seeking a senior leader to drive technology product strategy for its Investment Management, Quantitative Research & Development, and Portfolio Management functions. The role will guide roadmap definition, execution of large‑scale technology initiatives, and cross‑functional collaboration across Boston, New York and Springfield.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute product roadmaps aligned with business and technology strategy.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of complex technology programs, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.
• Oversee portfolio prioritization, governance, resource planning and vendor management.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs and delivery metrics to drive operational excellence.
• Provide strategic leadership on AI, automation, digital transformation and technology modernization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 8+ years of product management experience leading large investment technology projects.
• 5+ years of investment data experience with strong understanding of systems and data management.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead high‑performing teams.

Required skills

• Experience with BlackRock Aladdin, Charles River, Bloomberg Port or similar investment suites.
• Knowledge of investment data, AI, automation and digital transformation.
• Strong background in software engineering, architecture design, agile and DevOps practices.
