Controller – Finance Leader for High‑Growth Tech Company

About the role
We are a fast‑growing technology company building innovative hardware and software solutions for industrial and commercial markets. As we scale, we need a seasoned Controller to design and operate the financial infrastructure that will support our next phase of growth.
Key responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and produce accurate U.S. GAAP financial statements.
- Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, accruals and financial reporting.
- Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures and internal controls as the business expands.
- Own the finance side of our ERP system, improving processes, data integrity and reporting functionality.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash management and other financial planning initiatives.
- Manage external audit relationships and coordinate annual audits and reviews.
- Oversee tax, payroll accounting and compliance requirements.
- Administer equity programs and employee stock plans.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline accounting processes.
- Lead, mentor and develop the accounting team while setting priorities.
- Partner with executive leadership on performance analysis, fundraising and strategic decisions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Active CPA license.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting and internal controls.
- Experience leading month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with executive leadership.
