Construction Inspection Office Engineer (NICET III)

About the role

Prudent Engineering is looking for a Construction Office Engineer to support inspection and administration of bridge and highway projects in Buffalo and surrounding areas. The role starts immediately and involves managing contractor payments, tracking project documentation, and supporting field inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Enter contractor payments, process estimates, and verify inspector calculations against specifications.
• Prepare and distribute job progress meeting minutes.
• Track project material certifications and maintain organized project documents.
• Assist with construction inspection activities on bridge and highway projects.

Required profile

• NICET III certification or equivalent experience.
• Prior New York State DOT and/or Thruway inspection experience on bridge construction projects.
• Proficiency in computer‑aided project administration (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred).
