Senior Superintendent – Electrical Construction

About the role

The Senior Superintendent will lead field operations on large‑scale electrical construction projects in the Dallas market, focusing on data centers, hospitals and other complex facilities. This onsite leadership position requires coordination of manpower, subcontractors, schedules, quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all field operations for major electrical construction projects within a 4–5 hour radius of Dallas.
• Direct Superintendents, foremen, electricians, subcontractors and other field personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring work progresses as planned.
• Coordinate electrical installation with general contractors, other trades, engineers and project management.
• Monitor productivity, quality and safety, and resolve field issues before they affect schedule or budget.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings and communicate status to leadership.
• Review plans, specifications and drawings for constructability and coordination issues.
• Support project closeout, commissioning and turnover activities.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in electrical construction field operations, preferably on large commercial projects.
• Proven experience with data centers, hospitals or other complex facilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large field teams and coordinate multiple trades.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and schedule performance.
• Willingness to work on projects within a 4–5 hour radius of Dallas.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of electrical construction means and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and schedules.
