Compiler Engineer

About the role

Revel is building a next‑generation software stack for critical hardware control across aerospace, automotive, energy, and manufacturing. As a Compiler Engineer you will design and develop the proprietary compiler that powers our hardware control language, enabling engineers to write, test, and deploy safety‑critical software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize compilers for Revel's specialized hardware control language.
• Implement parsing, semantic analysis, IR construction, optimization passes, and code generation.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams to evolve the compiler architecture.
• Improve robustness, efficiency, determinism, and maintainability through testing and benchmarking.
• Conduct R&D to solve complex compiler challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Deep expertise in compiler design and implementation using LLVM or custom toolchains.
• Proven experience with performance optimization and deterministic system constraints.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a rigorous engineering mindset.
