Community Manager – Property Operations

About the role

The Community Manager oversees day‑to‑day operations of an assigned apartment community, leading staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and monitor property budgets, set rent rates, collect fees, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, manage petty cash, and ensure proper insurance documentation.
• Enforce lease terms, process applications, conduct inspections, handle evictions, and collect late fees.
• Analyze market trends, implement leasing strategies, and drive occupancy and revenue goals.
• Respond to resident inquiries, resolve service issues, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Supervise property staff through hiring, training, performance management, and daily oversight.
• Maintain owner relationships by providing updates, tours, and performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Advanced use of internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.
• Valid driver’s license for on‑site vehicle operation.
