Community-Based Direct Support Professional

About the role

BAYADA is seeking compassionate individuals to work as Community‑Based Direct Support Professionals in Philadelphia. You will provide one‑on‑one support to adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them live independently and participate in community activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance such as dressing and grooming.
• Accompany clients on errands, appointments and community outings.
• Engage clients in their favorite hobbies and activities.
• Assist with everyday tasks, including meal preparation.
• Support community integration and participation.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (training may be available).
• High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18+).
• Ability to transport clients to community activities.
