Commercial Lines Insurance Associate

About the role

Health & Virtuals, part of Health & Group, is hiring a full-time, 100% remote Commercial Lines Insurance Associate to support U.S.-based commercial insurance operations. The associate supports the day-to-day running of business insurance accounts, helps clients with service requests and keeps insurance documentation and account information accurate. Training and support are provided, and no insurance license is required.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing calls, answer business client inquiries, gather information and give timely follow-ups
• Prepare commercial insurance quotes using carrier platforms and established procedures
• Support policy endorsements, renewals and updates, keeping business and policy information accurate
• Prepare and process Certificates of Insurance and ACORD forms
• Assist with lender and mortgage insurance requests and coordinate required documentation
• Respond to billing inquiries, coordinate with clients and carriers and follow up on outstanding issues
• Maintain accurate client records, update account information and document communications and service activities
• Monitor pending requests, follow up on outstanding items and escalate complex matters when needed
• Work with internal teams and insurance carriers to ensure smooth operations and good client service

Required profile

• Dependable, organised and eager to learn, with a commitment to high-quality service
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Comfortable handling professional calls and working with business clients
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working independently and collaborating in a remote environment
• Availability to work schedules aligned with U.S. time zones
• Prior experience in commercial insurance, insurance administration or customer service is an advantage but not required
