COE Solution Architect – Inventory Management

About the role

The COE Solution Architect for Inventory Management will support CooperVision’s Global Supply Planning team by designing, developing, and executing robust inventory management processes and reporting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop standardized RACI & SIPOC processes and reporting to manage and optimize inventory across the network.
• Act as the system SME for o9, creating and maintaining high‑quality inventory reports, ensuring data integrity and automation.
• Partner with Global Supply Planning to define performance targets, benchmark against industry standards, and review monthly.
• Identify product portfolio rationalization opportunities and present financial assessments to executive leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience with strong understanding of inventory management, manufacturing, packaging, and logistics.
• Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices) and working with ERP/advanced planning systems.
• Highly self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Tableau or Cognos (or similar reporting tools)
• o9 advanced planning system
• ERP systems such as Oracle eBS, SAP, Baan
• Lean Six Sigma methodology (certification a plus)
