CNO Developer

About the role

MANTECH seeks a skilled and mission‑focused CNO Developer to join its team in Hanover, MD, working on offensive cyber capabilities that protect national security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new hardware‑ or software‑based Computer Network Operations (CNO) capabilities.
• Perform design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software applications and systems.
• Apply network and security concepts to support capability development.
• Communicate status updates and technical progress to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure software quality and compliance with development standards.

Required profile

• BS degree with 4+ years technical experience, or MS with 2+ years, or high school diploma with 8+ years.
• Current active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Ability to remain stationary at least 50% of the time.

Required skills

• Python or C/C++ programming.
• Experience with TCP/IP and socket‑level programming.
• Low‑level system internals across platforms (Windows, Unix, Mobile, network devices).
• Software analysis or reverse engineering.
• Use of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible).
• Understanding of assembly language concepts and unit testing frameworks.
