Senior CNO Developer

About the role

MANTECH is seeking an experienced Senior CNO Developer to join its Hanover, MD team. You will design and implement mission‑critical Computer Network Operations (CNO) capabilities that support national security agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new hardware‑ or software‑based CNO capabilities, including end‑to‑end data flow and tasking for CNO tools.
• Manage the full software lifecycle: design, development, documentation, testing, debugging, and compliance with development standards.
• Apply expert knowledge of networking protocols, socket‑level programming, and low‑level system internals across platforms such as Windows, Unix, mobile, or network devices.
• Communicate status updates and technical progress to leadership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• BS in a technical discipline with 8+ years of experience, or MS with 6+ years, or high‑school diploma with 12+ years of technical experience.
• Current active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and ability to obtain an additional polygraph if required.
• Ability to remain stationary for at least 50% of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with troubleshooting, debugging, and low‑level system internals.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols and socket‑level programming.
• Experience developing CNO capabilities and leading technical CNO solutions.
