CNO Developer – Advanced Cyber Capabilities

About the role

MANTECH seeks a skilled CNO Developer to design and implement offensive cyber capabilities that protect national security systems. The position is based onsite in Hanover, MD and supports a dynamic team working on cutting‑edge Computer Network Operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new hardware‑ or software‑based CNO capabilities.
• Perform design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software applications and systems.
• Apply network and security concepts to support capability development.
• Communicate status updates and technical progress to leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure software quality and compliance with development standards.

Required profile

• BS degree with 4+ years of technical experience, or MS with 2+ years, or high‑school diploma with 8+ years.
• Current active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
• Ability to remain stationary for at least 50% of the time.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• C/C++ programming.
• Networking protocols (TCP/IP) and socket‑level programming.
• Low‑level system internals on Windows, Unix, mobile or network devices.
• Software analysis or reverse engineering.
• Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible).
• Understanding of assembly language concepts.
• Unit testing frameworks and practices.
