About the role
The Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Clinical Technician to join the Pediatrics Emergency Department at Fairview Hospital. Working nights, you will support RN staff and help create a welcoming, healing environment for young patients.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with patient care under RN supervision, including taking vital signs, weight, and providing personal care.
- Perform point‑of‑care testing, dressing changes, apply external monitoring devices, and remove urinary Foley catheters.
- Report abnormal findings or changes in patients’ physical, mental, or emotional condition to the RN.
- Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained during new‑hire period if not already held).
- One year of recent full‑time patient‑care experience, or nursing student with at least one clinical rotation, or equivalent military medical experience.
Required skills
