Clinical Pharmacist – Inpatient (Part‑Time)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a part‑time Clinical Pharmacist to join the inpatient pharmacy team at Fairview Hospital. You will rotate between central pharmacy operations and unit‑based staffing, ensuring safe and effective medication management for hospitalized patients.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and clarify medication orders, oversee IV preparation and sterile product processes.
• Evaluate drug therapy, optimize dosing, monitor for interactions, and provide pharmacokinetic consultations.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds when scheduled and maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Required profile

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (or eligible for reciprocity within 90 days).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and completion of an immunization administration course.
• Current ACLS and/or PALS certification (required within one year of hire for those responding to arrests).

Required skills

• Medication order verification.
