Clinical Informatics Coordinator (Part‑Time)

About the role

Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Informatics Coordinator to join its IT team. The role focuses on supporting, optimizing, and managing patient‑care applications within the Meditech electronic medical record system.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement, train, support and continuously optimize Meditech modules such as Bedside Medication Management, Emergency Department, Order Entry, OR/Scheduling and Patient Discharge Instructions.
• Analyze clinical workflows, define requirements, resolve complex system issues, and coordinate software updates, fixes and database profiling.
• Serve as liaison between clinical departments, informatics technology and vendors to translate needs into technical solutions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of direct patient‑care experience with proven electronic health record project management.
• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare‑related field (graduate degree preferred).
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, analytical thinking and ability to communicate technical information to clinicians.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Meditech applications and related report‑writing software.
• Proficiency in managing software dictionaries, system parameters and user access controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot, apply software fixes and perform system upgrades.
