About the role

The IT Analyst will join Marex's Service Desk team, providing desktop, voice, and application support for the assigned region. You will work closely with other IT groups and business lines to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient technology services.

Key responsibilities

Log and manage incidents, service requests, and changes in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
Provide first‑line support for Microsoft technologies, phones, and trading applications, including building, imaging, upgrading, and maintaining laptops and desktops.
Escalate tickets when necessary and collaborate with internal knowledge‑base to share best practices.
Support PC setups, desk moves, and ad‑hoc tasks such as invoice entry and logistics.
Participate in a shift pattern (7 am–6 pm, Mon‑Fri) with occasional weekend work and travel to data centres.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
3–4 years of experience in a banking/finance environment, preferably with exposure to regulated settings.
Demonstrated curiosity, resilience, and ability to build relationships in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

Microsoft Windows 10, Windows Server (AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO), Exchange/Office 365.
Cisco Call Manager.
Trading and market applications: Bloomberg, TT, IceChat, WebIce, Future Source, Citrix, Cloud9, LMESelect, Fidesa, Neon, CQG, OMS Options City, IOA (Whentech), Reuters, Mimecast, Global Protect, CrowdStrike, Teams, CME, Trayport.
JIRA for ticket management.
