About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Primary Care Enterprise Department seeks a full‑time Clinical Business Operations Representative 2 to support daily clinical operations in Boca Raton. The role focuses on resolving pre‑ and post‑care issues, managing patient communications, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Answer multiple department phones, triage calls, direct inquiries, and document messages.
• Obtain and verify patient demographic, insurance, and referral information.
• Review clinical records for completeness, including authorizations and signatures.
• Greets visitors, handles inquiries, and routes them to appropriate staff.
• Provide coverage for co‑workers, manage inbound calls, and process faxed medical records.
• Schedule appointments, create work/school excuse letters, and confirm patient visits.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of relevant administrative or clinical support experience.
• Strong data‑entry accuracy and ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
