Chief of Staff

About the role

The Chief of Staff will partner directly with the CEO of a fast‑growing, private‑equity‑backed enterprise software company. Acting as a trusted thought partner, this leader will help shape strategy, streamline the executive operating rhythm, and ensure that the most critical initiatives move forward efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a sounding board for the CEO, translating high‑level strategy into clear problems, options, and actionable recommendations.
• Design, run, and continuously improve the cadence of leadership meetings, protecting the executive team’s time and focus.
• Own cross‑functional strategic projects, aligning stakeholders, building detailed plans, and driving measurable outcomes.
• Craft executive communications, including presentations, talking points, and board‑level summaries.
• Act as a liaison to the board, coordinating timely and accurate preparation of materials.

Required profile

• Consultative problem‑solver with exceptional judgment and the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Strong program management instincts and experience driving complex, multi‑team initiatives.
• Comfort operating credibly across all functions of a fast‑moving organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for distilling complex information into concise executive summaries.
