Certified Veterinary Rehabilitation Therapist – Vet or PT

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time licensed Veterinarian or a licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist with CCRT or CCRP certification to join our expanding rehabilitation team at Chesapeake Veterinary Surgical Specialists in Annapolis, Maryland.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for rehabilitation patients.
• Work in partnership with board‑certified surgeons, referring veterinarians, and in‑house specialists to deliver gold‑standard care.
• Utilize a fully equipped rehabilitation suite, including underwater treadmill, laser therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, shockwave therapy, and additional advanced modalities.
• Provide outstanding client communication and education for pet owners and referring DVMs.

Required profile

• Licensed Veterinarian or licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist.
• CCRT or CCRP certification.
• Motivated, team‑oriented rehabilitation therapist.

Required skills

• Underwater treadmill operation.
• Laser therapy application.
• Therapeutic ultrasound proficiency.
• Shockwave therapy expertise.
