Veterinary Receptionist / Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Veterinary Receptionist/CSR provides front‑desk support in a busy animal clinic, greeting clients, handling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between pet owners and the veterinary team. The role works 8‑ or 10‑hour shifts Monday‑Friday with rotating weekend coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients courteously and check them in.
• Answer and triage phone calls, schedule appointments, and collect payments.
• Enter client and patient information into the practice software.
• Support surgeons and other clinic staff as needed to maintain high‑quality patient care.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least one year of customer‑service experience preferred.
• Clear communication skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and strong attention to detail.
• Enthusiasm for working with animals and their families.

Required skills

• Basic data‑entry proficiency.
• General computer skills for using clinic software.
