Certified Nursing Assistant – Residential Care

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Residential provides direct patient care and support to individuals at the Homestead, a residential behavioral health treatment setting. The role assists with daily activities, monitors patient well‑being, and helps maintain a safe, structured environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, and meals.
• Monitor and document patient behavior, reporting concerns to nursing and clinical staff.
• Support patients in adhering to their treatment plans.
• Assist with medication administration under nursing supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas.
• Participate in crisis intervention and de‑escalation when needed.

Required profile

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the relevant state.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral health or residential care (preferred).
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining licensure.
• If in recovery, a minimum of 2 years sobriety.
