Certified Medical Assistant – Family Doctor Clinic (Full‑Time)

About the role

This full‑time position provides individualized medical care to patients in a family doctor clinic under the supervision of a licensed health care provider. The role involves direct patient interaction, electronic documentation, and support for the attending physician.

Key responsibilities

• Support patients and providers throughout each visit, ensuring preparation and answering questions.
• Maintain accurate patient registration and clinical documentation using the company’s data systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients over the phone and in person to meet their needs promptly.
• Adapt interactions to respect patient privacy and cultural preferences.
• Comply with Department of Transportation drug testing policies when working in occupational health settings.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED (required); completion of a formal medical assistant training program (preferred).
• Experience handling confidential information in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications, including electronic health record documentation.
• Clinical knowledge to support patient care activities.
