About the role

Join Ochsner Health as a PRN Registered Nurse on the MedSurg/Telemetry/Step‑Down unit at St. Anne. You will provide patient‑centered care, lead the nursing team, and uphold the highest standards of practice.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
Assess patient learning needs and implement appropriate teaching strategies.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
