Carpenter – Trim & Framing Specialist

About the role

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking experienced trim carpenters and framers to join our Columbus team. You will help restore structures to their original condition after damage, delivering high‑quality repairs and installations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare reconstruction plans and follow company procedures to return structures to pre‑damage condition.
• Construct, repair, restore, and install floors, doors, walls, windows, stairways, cabinets, shelves, and roofs using hand and power tools.
• Study blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine material requirements and dimensions.
• Perform structural framing in both wood and metal, including demolition of damaged components.

Required profile

• Ability to estimate time and materials for projects and produce work on schedule and within budget.
• Experience with on‑call and emergency situations, applying safety procedures daily.
• Strong customer service skills for interacting with clients, employees, and vendors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with carpenter’s hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and building plans.
• Accurate measurement and material cutting, shaping, and assembly.
