Business Sales Consultant – PEO Solutions

About the role

The Business Sales Consultant will drive new revenue by selling Professional Employer Organization (PEO) solutions to businesses in the designated territory. You will manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and hand‑over to implementation, while building strong relationships with brokers and channel partners.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new PEO business opportunities through cold calling, networking, email outreach and partner referrals.
• Conduct discovery meetings to assess client workforce challenges, payroll processes and compliance needs.
• Present tailored PEO proposals, pricing options and service recommendations to decision‑makers.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing and implementation timelines in collaboration with sales leadership.
• Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast and activity records in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with implementation, payroll, benefits, HR and risk‑management teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
• Stay current on industry trends, compliance developments and competitor offerings.

• Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales quotas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations and negotiations.
• Willingness to travel domestically for client visits, meetings and industry events.

Required skills

• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, specifically Salesforce.
• Strong knowledge of sales methodologies and best practices.
