Field Service Professional

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, installing cutting‑edge smart home technology and providing consultative sales to enhance customer safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services.
• Educate homeowners on system operation and safety features.
• Maintain safety assessments at each location and follow company safety protocols.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and licensing requirements.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and work in varied weather conditions.

Required skills

• Experience or aptitude in installing security cameras.
• Experience or aptitude in installing smart locks.
• Experience or aptitude in home automation system installation and troubleshooting.
