Student Worker – Ticket Operations

About the role

The Game Day Ticket Sales Student Worker supports ticketing operations for home athletic events, providing customer service to fans and guests while handling ticket sales, distribution, and entry operations.

Key responsibilities

• Sell tickets at designated windows or sales locations and process cashless transactions using the department's ticketing and point‑of‑sale systems.
• Assist guests with mobile tickets, ticket access, and basic ticketing questions; scan and validate tickets at venue entrances.
• Handle will‑call, complimentary tickets, and credential distribution, and maintain accurate sales records.
• Open and close ticket operations before and after events, support crowd flow and entrance operations, and communicate issues to supervisors.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled student in good standing with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Dependable, punctual, able to work nights and weekends with limited supervision.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in indoor/outdoor environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, tablets, scanners, and point‑of‑sale technology.
• Ability to accurately handle ticket transactions and basic record‑keeping.
