Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installations

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned leader in connected home technology, as a Field Service Professional in Ada, OK. You will be the face of the brand, installing cutting‑edge smart home devices and offering customers tailored upgrades for safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend additional equipment or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation to ensure confidence and peace of mind.
• Maintain safety assessments for each job site and adhere to company safety protocols.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and licensing requirements.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, and work in varied weather conditions.

Required skills

• Installation and troubleshooting of smart home hardware (cameras, locks, automation hubs).
• Basic networking knowledge for device connectivity.
• Use of company‑provided tablet and software for job documentation.
