Business Marketing & Outreach Specialist

About the role

The Business Marketing & Outreach Specialist will increase CMT Services' visibility and generate qualified leads across federal, state, and local government markets. This front‑line representative will conduct proactive outreach and build relationships with agencies, partners, and prospective clients.

Key responsibilities

• Research target markets, government agencies, and industry sectors to identify prospective customers and business opportunities.
• Develop and execute targeted marketing and sales outreach campaigns using email, phone, LinkedIn, and networking events.
• Represent the company at industry days, conferences, trade shows, and matchmaking events.
• Create and maintain capability statements, presentations, digital content, and other marketing materials.
• Manage the company’s digital presence on LinkedIn and other platforms, and track leads in the CRM.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, sales, business development, communications, or public relations.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with a confident, professional communication style.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and travel as needed for events.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn.
• Design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
