Foundation Relations Officer

About the role

The Hispanic Access Foundation seeks a strategic, relationship‑driven Foundation Relations Officer to lead cultivation, growth, and stewardship of institutional foundation partnerships that advance its mission.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of foundation partners, developing cultivation, renewal, and expansion strategies.
• Convert outreach into meetings, proposals, and multi‑year funding relationships.
• Lead proposal strategy, drafting high‑impact proposals and reports aligned with donor priorities.
• Research and prioritize new foundation prospects, maintaining a forward‑looking pipeline.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with program, finance, communications, and leadership teams.
• Maintain accurate foundation records in Salesforce and track performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
• Proven success in foundation fundraising, securing and renewing institutional grants.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling ability to translate program outcomes into compelling cases.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships in a remote, fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Salesforce or comparable CRM platform.
