Director of Field Marketing

About the role

Home Genius Exteriors is seeking a Director of Field Marketing to lead its Maryland office. This high‑intensity, field‑first position combines sales production, team training, and operational accountability while maintaining a demanding six‑day work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead field operations by actively producing, coaching, and shadowing team members.
• Own KPI attainment, sales volume, and cost‑of‑marketing targets, stepping into field production when needed.
• Deliver weekly training sessions, script drills, and develop internal talent for manager roles.
• Manage day‑to‑day office functions including inventory, scheduling, performance plans, terminations, and quarterly reviews.
• Maintain accurate reporting, update performance trackers, and present KPI and SWOT updates to senior leadership.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee referral initiatives.
• Coordinate event and retail staffing logistics, cost management, and identify new opportunities.
• Oversee fleet compliance, vehicle registration, inspections, and maintenance reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and developing field marketing, sales, or door‑to‑door teams.
• Strong track record of meeting production and KPI targets while personally producing in the field.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Comfortable with a demanding field‑first schedule, including a six‑day work week and travel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vans.
• High level of accountability, integrity, and professionalism.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Slack.
• Experience using standard reporting and tracking tools.
