Business Development Manager – Renewables

About the role

Spark Power is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Renewables team to grow US and Canadian wind operations. You will strengthen existing customer relationships and create strategies to expand Spark’s presence in the North American wind market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sales efforts for transactional maintenance campaigns and long‑term service agreements for US and Canada wind teams.
• Identify strategic customer accounts and develop annual sales account plans.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to find entry points for current offerings and analyze market needs.
• Represent Spark Power Renewables at industry conferences and customer meetings, both remote and in‑person.
• Drive proposal opportunities (RFPs, informal discussions) focused on delivering customer value.
• Work with internal Business Analyst to refine cost models based on project needs and commercial goals.

Required profile

• At least five years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in renewable energy (wind).
• Strong understanding of the renewable energy market and customer dynamics.
• Proactive accountability and ability to overcome obstacles.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Advanced presenting and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
