Debt Consultant – Financial Solutions Specialist

About the role

As a Debt Consultant on Achieve’s Debt Resolution team, you will work with customers who have high levels of unsecured debt, guiding them through personalized solutions to regain financial control. The role focuses on consultative sales, balancing empathy, education, and financial clarity, often closing within one or two interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage a pipeline of high‑debt, high‑intent customers from initial contact through enrollment.
• Lead consultative conversations to understand each customer’s full financial picture and clearly explain debt‑resolution strategies.
• Balance empathy with direction, guiding customers through emotionally and financially complex decisions.
• Drive efficient decision‑making and close opportunities, often within 1‑2 calls.
• Prioritize opportunities and execute targeted follow‑up to maximize conversion.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of inside sales experience, preferably in a consultative financial environment.
• Proven success in a commission‑driven role with consistent goal attainment.
• Strong ability to navigate both emotional and analytical conversations.
• Experience managing a pipeline and prioritizing opportunities effectively.
• Confidence discussing financial situations, trade‑offs, and long‑term outcomes.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
