About the role

The College of Innovation and Design at East Texas A&M University is seeking a Budget Specialist I or Budget Specialist II. Reporting to the Dean, the specialist will support the college’s financial planning and oversight through routine budget preparation and analysis.

Key responsibilities

Prepare routine budget documents and updates for the college.
Review and approve moderately complex budgetary submissions.
Conduct moderately complex budgetary analyses to support decision‑making.
Collaborate with college leadership to ensure fiscal compliance and accuracy.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (transcripts required).
Experience in budget preparation, review, and analysis.
Ability to work under the supervision of the Dean and follow established financial policies.
