About the role
The Breast Center Manager oversees daily operations and efficiency of the Comprehensive Breast Center, ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination across imaging modalities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage patient scheduling, follow‑up, teaching, and counseling while tracking biopsies and coordinating diagnostic procedures.
- Allocate daily resources, create employee schedules, ensure MQSA compliance, develop policies, and evaluate staff performance.
- Provide nursing care including medication administration, conscious sedation, and emergent medication delivery in accordance with hospital policies.
- Document patient care activities accurately, communicate pertinent information to physicians and families, and participate in quality monitoring and process improvement.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s in nursing preferred.
- Minimum five years RN experience; one year supervisory experience preferred.
- Current Missouri RN licensure (or Compact State) and Basic Life Support certification.
