Branch Service Officer

About the role

The Operational Branch Services Officer will deliver high‑quality customer service at the Sebastopol branch of Westamerica Bank. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager (CSM), you will support daily operations, promote bank products, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality service to internal and external customers, meeting the 5 Points of Service standards.
• Promote sales of bank services and products, achieving an average goal of $110 per full‑time equivalent per month.
• Process account opening and closing paperwork, handle cash shipments, and balance ATM and vault.
• Assist the CSM with audit readiness, teller line coverage, and operational tasks such as Branch Capture and certifications.

Required profile

• Good customer‑relations abilities and basic math skills.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, stand or walk for long periods, and lift up to 25 lb occasionally.
• Willingness to follow security, compliance, and control‑consciousness policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with 10‑key machines, Microsoft‑based computers, fax, photocopier, ATM, and branch capture equipment.
• Effective communication and teamwork to support branch operations and sales initiatives.
